I don’t know Cosmo, but I met her husband a couple times during my film screening and on bike related events. He seemed like a very nice guy, has a little girl and I thought I’ll befriend his wife Cosmo.

I started reading her blog LACycleChic and followed her on twitter and I’m hoping to meet her at her Cycle Chic ride on November 7th.

I’m always happy when I see people dressed normal or dressed up while riding their bikes, and I’m hoping to inspire some people along my journey. LA Cycle Chic does exactly that. It celebrates the chic lifestyle of cyclists in Los Angeles with photos, writeups and now a fun bike ride.

Cosmo is organizing a shopping spree on Melrose on November 7th on bikes. A nice afternoon out on a bike and getting some shopping done is what LA needs, not only because it is beautiful to see people out on their bikes but this event is also great for the economy. So double Kudos to Cosmo!

You have about a week to get your bike in shape. Go any night of the week to the Bicycle Kitchen on Helitrope and get your bike lubed, adjusted, tires pumped up, and be sure to clean the chains, so you won’t get dirt on your dress or pants when you go out on this ride on November 7th.
