A Woman’s Eye at the Odyssey Theatre

 A Woman’s Eye
Yesterday I photographed the production “A Woman’s Eye” at the Odyssey Theatre and I wanted to give it my recommendation.

It is a superb show by three very talented actresses. The three women who are performing in this show also conceived and wrote this. It was very inspiring!

Quoting from the facebook event invitation:
“This performance is the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble’s student outreach program in partnership with Los Angeles City College Theater Academy. This work in progress performance series will explore the evolution of the modern woman by tapping into three iconic women figures from history: Lilith, Amaterasu, and Eve. Running January 16th and 17th at 8pm, and January 18th at 2pm. Students: pay what you can, Adults: $10.
There will be post-show discussions after every performance.”

Performances are Friday, January 16th and Saturday the 17th  at 8pm and on Sunday, January 18th at 2pm.
Tickets are $10
Pay-what-you-can with a valid student ID.

The Odyssey Theatre is located at 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd. between Santa Monica Blvd. and Olympic.

Get your tickets by calling 310.477.2055 or email them at oddysseytheatreensemble@hotmail.com

The Odyseey is easily accessible via Metro bus #4 or 704 (rapid) from Santa Monica Blvd.  Walk down Sepulveda to the theater.  You can also get there via the Dash which is the local bus.

I always ride my bike there from Hollywood or I jump on the bus and put my bike on the rack in front of the bus. The Odyssey has a little terrace where I usually lock up my bike.

Enjoy the show and stay for the Q&A.
