My new car sat parked collecting dust in an underground garage. I was from Hollywood and Highland to downtown LA in 12 minutes flat. I got in great shape walking to and from the stations - even sprinting up the escalators and stairs after a while no small feat for a guy 52 years old. The metro is great.
