We’ve been invited to help organize the Crenshaw Crush, a Sunday morning discovery bike ride on September 27 in the Crenshaw district.
Preliminary plans include a bit of a welcome program, chicory coffee and beignet, lots of rest stops with speakers who can talk about the political and cultural highlights of the location, music, sag support, a bit of encouragement and some soul food at the end.
Any volunteers to take on an element or two? Outreach, sag support, route planning, ride leaders, speakers for the rest stops, music trailer, food sponsor organizer, political speakers, historian, Park Czar, documentarian, publicity, taste-tester…? Just let us know.
