Now considered a classic of 20th-century American drama, Desire scandalized early audiences for its treatment of infanticide, alcoholism, vengeance, and incest. The very first Los Angeles cast was arrested for performing an obscene work!

This exciting new revival is directed by Jeffrey Hayden and features Charlie Robinson and Dig Wayne of last year’s multiple award-winning production of August Wilson’s FENCES.

Originally adapted by O’Neill from the Greek classic, Euripides HIPPOLYTA and Racine’s PHEDERE, Hayden’s new take with an all-African-American cast is sure to be a Los Angeles event.
