The second Thursday of every month in Downtown Los Angeles a bunch of galleries, lofts, art studios, and businesses get together and open their doors from 12 - 9 p.m. to inspire us all. It’s called the Downtown Art Walk. It is an amazing array of paintings, sculptures, photographs, pottery, furniture, jewelry, clothing, interactive art and more.

I always meet some great people, make new friends, get new ideas, get inspired and stimulated, and I can’t get enough, and I have to go back for more stimuli the following month.

It’s best to take the Metro Red Line (Pershing Square) because you’ll be walking. If you visit the Downtown Art Walk website, you can print out a black and white map showing you all the participating spaces and their Metro connections.

Don’t miss this event! It’s FREE, it’s fun, it’s the best thing on the second Thursday of each month!
