“Draw the Line” – Group show at Cactus Gallery

The Cactus Gallery has always been a favorite gallery of mine because they always display such a wide variety of art work that you get a great taste of the Los Angeles art community.

This weekend there is a group show titled “Draw the Line” which features a collection of drawings done in graphite pencils, pen, ink, colored pens and pencils, charcoals and pastels.

My friend and neighbor Victoria Gaw is amongst the artists who will be presenting their work and one thing I love about Victoria is that she walks and bikes around LA and I bump into her, her husband and their dog all over town, and I see her always working on one project or another.

The Reception will be this Saturday, August 14th from  7-10p

Featuring “Burlesque Dancers” by Ron Llanos as well as the talents of Brian Smith, Ben Robertson, Jessica Ward, Pablo Ramos, Viktoria Gaw, Patricia Krebs, Michael Gullberg and numerous other draftsmen and women.

Live drawing by Roger Triviños and Viktoria Gaw.

The Vizzi Truck will be in attendance. Music provided by Stop & Listen L.A.
