If you are in Santa Monica this afternoon, you might want to participate in todays civic obedience event put up by the Crimanimalz. The event is called CRIMANIMALZ VS THE SANTA MONICA POLICE (080808) Because Santa Monica Arrested Santa.

This ride will consist of disruptive civil obedience. Obedience because they will follow the law - but they will do so in a way which will cause extreme disruption. Details won’t be disclosed but go and have a fun time, and see a spectacle. Direct action and party time will be sexxxing it up on the streets of Santa Monica.

SOME KIND OF LOVE STORY a play by Arthur Miller is having it’s West Coast premiere this weekend at the Hayworth Theatre. Arthur Miller, playwright and brief hubby to Marilyn Monroe, was said to have written this relatively unknown play as a largely autobiographical work. In “Some Kind of Love Story,” Miller delves into the life of a hard-boiled private eye named Tom, whose life gets topsy-turvy when he finds himself bound to a hooker named Angela who holds the key info Tom needs to solve a case.
