Thursday, September 27th, Public Displays of Affection – Series Two, is featuring Ladytron, Great Northern and DJ Taina at Hollywood & Highland. Your concert ticket is your Metro ticket.
We went to the last one at Union Station and it was a blast. And it was so packed that a lot of people were turned away. Who didn’t get in however went to the bar and listened from there.
So park your car at Union Station or in North Hollywood somewhere and hop on the Red Line. Metro tickets are $1.25 one way or $5 for a day pass (buy a day pass if you have more then 4 boardings.) More info on metro.net.

Friday, September 28th through Sunday, September 30th, Global Inheritance is teaming up with Swerve Festival. The Swerve Festival features art, film, music, and action sports at the Barnsdall Art Park in East Hollywood. Global Inheritance will offer several cool energy displays onsite including the Ethanol popcorn tree and Tour De Swerve bikes that generate power for charging cell phones, running laptops and iPods.
Swerve Ticket holders interested in getting TRASHed can visit the recycling store with their empty bottles/cans collected onsite + turn in their CD Jewel Cases, VHS tapes and Cassette tapes. Each day, individuals can collect points by recycling to purchase cool merchandise, including travel bags, screening passes, organic jeans, music, limited print skateboard decks, iPod speakers, DVDs + more.
In support of the TRASHed Recycling Store, Global Inheritance will host the TRASHed :: Art of Recycling around the venues.
The Barnsdall Art Park is by the Sunset/Vermont Metro Red Line station! Leave your car at home and take public transportation. Have someone else drive for you for a change. For more info about the event, visit www.swervefestival.com.
We love Global Inheritance! See you there and see you on the street!
