Last month, the Cedar Sinai Hospital had their annual Blood Donor Appreciation Reception, where they honored all their new and old blood donors.  Stephen has been donating blood, and platelets for over a year now, so we were invited as well. The hospital served some really awesome food and a few people spoke to thank the donors, to share their stories, and to honor the ones that saved their lives.

On Thursday, August 10th, BikeTown USA and Metro will be giving away 50 Bikes!!!  So quit everything that you are doing, and come on down with us to the Gateway Plaza (the Metro Building) at Union Station and win a bike!

In my last Newsletter, I announced, that FirstStage was looking for monologues for their Monologues Unlimited Competition!  A friend and writer, Jordan Young, whom I’ve worked with in the past, emailed me right away with two monologues.  Well, I auditioned with one of them, and the monologue got accepted into the competition :-)  If you have a monologue for the next competition, hang on to it, and I’ll let you know about the audition.
