I take my batteries to either Staples (I haven't seen their recycling box though last time I went) or I take it to Gelson's Market. They have a recycling bucket by the front door, that is filled with all kinds of batteries, including cell phone batteries. :-) Thank you for posting Call 2 Recycle, Theresa! You don't have to work for the city to recycle old rechargeable batteries. Many local retailers will take them back too, at no cost.
