I take my batteries to either Staples (I haven&#039;t seen their recycling box though last time I went) or I take it to Gelson&#039;s Market. They have a recycling bucket by the front door, that is filled with all kinds of batteries, including cell phone batteries. :-)</description>

You don&#039;t have to work for the city to recycle old rechargeable batteries.  Many local retailers will take them back too, at no cost.  Visit www.call2recycle.org, type in your zip code to get a list of participating retailers.</description>
