I received a message from a friend today on my cell phone and it went something like this:
“Hey Enci, it’s me, reporting on foot. Just coming out of the Metro station. One Less Car on the Road Today.”
What beautiful words these are to me, especially from a friend who drives everywhere. All the drivers should be thankful everytime they see a cyclist or a pedestrian because that is one less car not in their way.

I took the metro to the DMV on Hollywood and Western so I could register my new land speeder. One more “car” on the road. I’m soooo ashamed!
